How Group Psychotherapy Works
Group therapy is an economical and very effective form of psychotherapy. Individuals facing similar issues meet collectively to discuss their own struggles and lend support to the rest of the group.
Adult Interpersonal Psychotherapy Group
Openings are currently available in an on-going process-oriented psychotherapy group for adult men and women who seek a safe and supportive environment in which to address issues related to difficulties in intimate relationships. The group also provides an opportunity to explore themes such as self-esteem, loneliness, depression, sexuality, compulsive behaviors, getting older, and parenting.
Weekly Meetings for Adult Interpersonal Psychotherapy Groups:
All group sessions are 90 minutes at Dr. Conkright's office.
Fee: $65/Session, with a limited number of reduced-fee openings.
Tuesdays: 5:30-7:00 p.m. PM Fridays: 9:00-10:30 a.m.
Gay and Bisexual Men's Group
Openings are currently available for on-going process-oriented psychotherapy groups for Gay/Bisexual men who seek a safe and supportive environment in which to deal with the issues in their lives. The group provides an opportunity to explore concerns related to the challenges of being Gay and/or Bisexual such as coming out, self-esteem, isolation, homophobia, addictions, HIV, aging, relationships, and parenting. The group will build upon the similarities and diversities of the group members and is open to adult men regardless of age, economic status, physical ability, or ethnic and cultural background.

All group sessions are 90 minutes at Dr. Conkright's office.
Wednesdays: 6:00-7:30 p.m. PM Thursdays: 6:00-7:30 p.m. (Now Forming)
